Meet Alicia Dominguez
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I have a Master's in Social Work from USC and a Master's in Business Administration from UC Irvine. I became a social worker because I wanted to be an advocate for societal change through empowering others. While I am trained and qualified to work with a variety of concerns, I have a special affinity for life transitions and workplace mental health. My unique perspective as an LCSW/MBA professional guides my insight to issues like imposter syndrome, work-life balance, stress management, boundary setting, and many other concerns.

My Approach
I use an eclectic approach to treatment, pulling from a variety of modalities, theories, and evidenced-based interventions. This allows me to individualize the treatment to meet each client's unique needs. I activate change in my clients by using the strengths they already have while challenging negative thoughts and beliefs that keep us from moving forward.
My Style
When you meet with me for the first time, you can expect to feel welcomed and heard. My style is casual and down to earth with a touch of humor, while at the same time professional and focused. My practice focuses on four core values: accessibility, client-centered, instilling hope, and creating change.
